Do we need to implement this or does the Parse SDK have a listener on the applicationDidFinishLaunching notification to handle:

[FBSession.activeSession handleDidBecomeActive];

No, you need to add this to your app delegate:

    [PF_FBSession.activeSession handleDidBecomeActive];

it does not have handleDidBecomeActive.

in Parse framework 1.1.12 does not work. in 1.1.13 works. Parse is awesome but it also can be ...

Yes, this is available in the latest SDK.
